A marauding army of Hyperborean raiders has slipped past the border defenses of the Fers Kingdom and is laying waste to that green and pleasant land on their way to a collision with its unready protectors, Queen Gloriana's army. The player characters have been caught in their path, about to be encircled in the hamlet of Ragnit, and must choose one of the three daunting routes of escape: Forge a high-mountain pass blighted with legendary monsters, navigate treacherous caverns inhabited by epic undying evil, or survive as servants of the enemy camp until you can escape. More than just a Level 0 funnel adventure for Dungeon Crawl Classics, All Roads Lead to Conquest offers three unique Paths that challenge players in distinctly different ways; combat, puzzles, or social manipulation. Players can face a grueling version of the conventional DCC funnel, designed to push the very limits of the Total Party Kill (TPK), or dive into the twisted social dynamic of the enemy camp, challenging their abilities of manipulation and subterfuge, or plunge into the puzzle-focused tomb of a demigod giant. No matter the Path chosen, it leads to Conquest, a minigame designed to play out large-scale battles for fantasy TTRPGs with minimal rules and maximum story drama!
